Having opened its doors in 1996, MD2 Seattle is our original concierge medical practice. The office is located in the Swedish First Hill Medical Center Tower in downtown Seattle.
The practice is run by two of the most respected concierge medical physicians in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Anne Lipke and Dr. Derel Finch. They are recognized for their uncompromising commitment to personalized care - a standard after which all other MD2 offices are modeled. Both physicians are affiliated with Swedish Medical Center and the University of Washington Hospital and have long-standing ties with the Seattle medical community.
Dr. Anne Lipke
Dr. Anne Lipke’s journey from Puerto Rico and Florida to Virginia shaped her into the compassionate and inquisitive physician today. As the daughter of educators, her natural curiosity and love for puzzles have always driven her, leading her to the world of medicine. Though she initially planned to specialize in neurosurgery, her deep passion for solving complex problems and fostering long-term patient relationships ultimately guided her to internal medicine.
Throughout her career, Dr. Lipke has earned accolades at every stage for her academic excellence, teaching, and clinical practice. From being inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society during her junior year at the Medical College of Virginia, to being repeatedly named a “Top Doctor” in the Seattle area, her dedication to her field shines brightly.
After relocating from Virginia to the Pacific Northwest to train in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Washington, Dr. Lipke joined Swedish Medical Center, where she made a lasting impact. While she practiced across all Swedish campuses, she spent significant time building and leading the Pulmonary and Critical Care division at the Issaquah campus since its inception in 2011. Known for her exceptional clinical skills and her collaborative approach, Dr. Lipke is a respected figure in the medical community.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Lipke is a devoted mother to her children and her beloved Great Dane. She’s also working on becoming a better fly-fishing companion to her husband in the years ahead. With a passion for the arts and a love for adventure, Dr. Lipke cherishes time spent exploring new experiences with her friends and family.
